Sole Proprietorships & General Partnerships

Sole Proprietorships & General Partnerships

Sole Proprietorships are the simplest and easiest form of business. However, owners are legally bound to their proprietorship, and business is officially run under the owner’s name. Personal and business property and money can be mixed. General Partnerships are great for small businesses and can be informal or orally agreed-upon. They still carry risk but avoid the taxes LLCs and Corporations pay.
